Teacher's Note

My comment, on:

Human and social dimensions of development:
What do you mean by volunteerism? Which segment of volunteerism that may relates to DA? Or rather, in what way? Don’t simply put the point without elaborating it (deduction for that!). Regarding the example that you gave, there are so many questions puzzling me such as,
what happen when people get connected with the government? Or, how human and social dimensions may affected by the system?

Hint: if your argument still bore the question of “why” over and over again, it means the argument is incomplete.

Economic development:
Indicators such as literacy rates, life expectancy and poverty undoubtedly very much related to DA. However,
the relationship is not clearly illustrated and as such, your argument is everywhere without concrete correlation with the economic development.

What the disaster fund has to do with economic development and DA? People get the fund, and then, BOOM!, the economy is developed? Huh?

Political development:
“To enhance the state’s capacity to mobilize and allocate resources to process policy inputs into implementable outputs” – what a good point you came out with. HOWEVER …. The examples don’t really immaterial.

Why?
State’s capacity to mobilize and allocate resources VS. Men’s political monopoly VS. consciousness among the society = such a weird comparison!

No matter, how good your point is, but if the explanation is bad, it is a recipe for disaster!

Public Administration Development (PAD):
Why a sneer at the mentioned of Pak Lah's cabinet? Something wrong? Care to explain?
